Carina Parisella – LinkedIn
Carina Parisella is a purpose-driven executive with over two decades of experience building high-performing, engaged teams across technology and people functions. Known for her warm and energetic leadership style, she fuses empathy with execution to create cultures where people thrive and deliver impact.
She is soon to step into the role of Chief People Officer at Andromeda Robotics, where she will help scale a purpose-led tech startup with humanity, creativity, and bold thinking. Previously, as Head of Technology Workforce & AI at ANZ, Carina led transformation across a 15,000-strong global technology team, designing enterprise-wide workforce strategies, embedding AI tools such as Copilot, and launching the AI Immersion Centre, which reached more than 4,000 leaders across four countries.
Carina is passionate about inclusive pathways into technology. She created ANZ’s award-winning Return to Work program for career-breakers, the Tech Talent Marketplace, and the Alternative Pathways strategy—initiatives that now represent over 10% of ANZ’s global technology workforce and have influenced adoption across the sector.
Her work has brought her into collaboration with academia, government, and industry, and she has presented talent strategies to global leaders, including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. She has been named among the Top 101 Global Engagement & Experience Influencers for three consecutive years.
Outside of her corporate roles, Carina has founded and led several community initiatives, from leading Australia’s My Room Children’s Cancer Gala Volunteer community to the Docklands Sports Club, fostering grassroots inclusion. She has also curated and hosted panels and summits across Melbourne’s innovation ecosystem.

From the Australian Army to Microsoft’s tech frontier, Sarah Carney’s journey is anything but ordinary. As the National Technology Officer for Microsoft in Australia and New Zealand, Sarah is the go-to for spotting emerging tech trends and helping the biggest enterprise and government customers navigate the future. She’s also the Responsible AI lead and a proud member of Microsoft’s regional AI product Red Team.
Sarah’s career has taken her across continents and industries—from think tanks in Europe to marketing in the Middle East, and even a stint attending ballet for a living!
