The Breeding Edge: Reproduction & Crossbreeding Insights Workshop
Description
To help Wisconsin farmers, veterinarians and the dairy industry to get the most current and update research information, UW- Madison Extension has developed the “The Breeding edge: reproduction & crossbreeding insights” workshop. This program is an update on UW-Madison dairy reproduction research, covering heifer reproduction, sexed semen, the high fertility cycle, crossbreeding insights and more. The workshop training features Dr. JP Martins, Assistant professor Department of Medical Sciences School of Veterinary - UW Madison, Dr Paul M. Fricke, professor & Extension specialist in Dairy Cattle Reproduction, Dr. Victor Cabrera, Professor & Extension Specialist – Dairy Farm Management, and Alison Pfau, bilingual regional dairy educator from Dane, Jefferson, Rock and Walworth counties.
