The Caledon Crawl
Event description
Caledon Crawl 2022
850m of perseverance ... and then some wine.
The Caledon Crawl is back and has had a little facelift. We are moving to a new time of 3pm on Saturday 12th November and with the cellar door under construction we'll settle in afterwards next to the dam for some wine, food, music and a good catch-up. Â
For the first timers, challenge yourself with the 850m climb and then be rewarded with some lovely wine and food. The Crawl is a family friendly event aimed at bringing people together and maybe getting a little fitter along the way. Participation is the focus, in past years many people have walked but for those who like a challenge there are awards for First Adult Male, First Adult Female, First Junior (U14) Male and First Junior (U14) Female.
This year, everyone will need to buy a ticket, with all of the ticket money going straight to Landcare Tasmania.  Pizza will be available to order from Robbie's Wood Fired Pizza (cash and eftpos available) but drinks (wine, soft drink, water) and some nibbles will be available to all participants free of charge. Bring your water bottles and we will carry them and your jumpers/bags up the hill so you can get them again at the finish line.
We are happy for people to stay the night, if you would like to camp or bring your caravan, please indicate when you register.
We look forward to seeing everyone. Once you have bought your tickets you will be sent further information via the email address provided and you can keep up to date on Instagram @caledon_crawl
