The Capability Papers: Showcase

This event has passed Buy Tickets

Event description

The Capability Papers SHOWCASE event puts a spotlight on Australian companies with outstanding commercial technology that also have important applications in the Defence sector. It also showcases startups and promising research that could have dual application in civilian and Defence markets.

This event comes on the heels of the Defence Strategic Review, which highlighted a requirement for greater industry involvement and reform of procurement to accelerate the uptake of innovative local products and services.

Australian industry has capability and this event prompts a discussion about how Defence and industry can scale that capability. The focus is on technology and the companies that build products that can be applied across both Defence and the civilian commercial sector.

There are huge opportunities for Australian industry to participate more fully as suppliers and innovators to Defence. This SHOWCASE brings an incredible array of entrepreneurs and smart companies to Canberra.

This event brings together leaders from across the tech ecosystem, from government, from institutional research, from the Defence department and ministerial offices, as well as entrepreneurs and business leaders.

These are the people who are building capability across key strategic sectors to create an avenue to form new partnerships and connections.
