The Catalina Creative Mixer — April Edition

Once a month, a table forms in Surry Hills.

The Catalina Creative Mixer brings together Sydney’s professional creative community for an evening that blends conversation, short-form talks, and a long-table dinner into something more meaningful than a typical networking event.

The night begins with drinks and mingling inside Studio V at Hibernian House — one of Sydney’s most iconic creative spaces — before moving into a series of short, thought-provoking talks from leading voices across disciplines.

This month's theme explores Being in the World as a Creative Act (speakers to be announced)

Following the talks, guests take their seats for a curated 3-course dinner (BYO), designed to bring the room together.

And then, something unique happens.

At any moment during the dinner, any guest can step onto The Box — a small platform at the head of the table — and offer a 60-second toast to creativity, a poem, a thought, an insight, or an honouring to the muses.

No panels. No spectators.
Everyone has a voice.

If no one steps up, the room calls for it.
Box! Box! Box!
