Workshop Description
Learn how words bring fashion to life in this three-hour workshop exploring audio description for fashion.
It's perfect for anyone interested in fashion accessibility, including creatives and professionals, accessibility advocates, people with low vision or blindness, and anyone curious about the intersection of creativity and inclusion.
What to expect
Accessibility experts, Nilgun Guven and Skye de Vent from Vitae Veritas, will guide you through the process of crafting sensory audio descriptions for fashion.
The workshop will be experiential and participatory, using body, mind, voice and senses. We’ll work, share and learn together. At times we will use tech such as microphones.
You can participate in the workshop process at your own pace and capacity.

As you enter the workshop, a researcher will greet you. If you prefer not to be photographed or observed, please let them know; you are still most welcome to participate in the workshop. You may withdraw your consent (whether related to images or observation) at any time during the workshop.
The photos and observation notes will be used to develop future research on audio description for fashion and may be used in conference presentations and journal articles.
