CEMENTA DEBUTANTE BALL GUEST INFORMATION

WHEN: Friday 20th September 4PM - 6PM

WHERE: Kandos Community Hall

WHAT: A party invoking the regional tradition of the debutante ball - with an emphasis on the double meaning of 'coming out' in society

WHO: All visitors to Cementa are cordially invited to attend this event. Cementa debutante ball guests are invited to come with a date of the same gender. This event is for everybody! Your deb date could be your partner, a friend, or a family member. Guests who do not identify with one or any gender are welcome to come with whomever they damn well please. Don't be shy about coming stag! There'll be plenty of people there to dance with.

WEAR: The dress code for this event is 'Rainbow Formal' - all attendees are encouraged to dress up as much or as little as they like, and as colourfully as they can!
WHY: This work was developed by Georgia Banks and members of the Uncooperative, in response to their experiences growing up in regional Australia
