🥂 THE CHAMPAGNE EXPERIENCE - Canberra 

After our recent road trip to the Taste of Champagne, where we tasted an astonishing 252 Champagnes and had the opportunity to meet Champagne expert Tyson Stelzer, we came home inspired.

We thought: Why should Canberra miss out?

So, we’ve taken everything we loved from that experience, added a little of our own Shenanigans, and created something rather special.

We’ve sat down, revisited our tasting notes and hand-selected a collection of the Champagnes we think you’re going to love — from elegant and refined to those bottles that made us stop, look at each other and say, “Yep… that one!”

And we’re bringing them to one of Canberra’s most prestigious venues, Royal Canberra Golf Club.

But there’s a twist.

We’ve created two ways to enjoy the evening — or, if you’re feeling particularly enthusiastic, both.

🌹 THE CHAMPAGNE TASTING

Join us amongst the beautiful rose gardens at Royal Canberra for an afternoon/evening of Champagne, accompanied by a selection of delicious canapés.

A chance to wander, taste, discover and enjoy an exceptional line-up of Champagne in one of Canberra’s most beautiful settings.

🍾 THE CHAMPAGNE DINNER

Prefer to sit back and let someone else do the pouring?

Join us for a set menu created by the Royal Canberra kitchen, with a carefully selected line-up of Champagne chosen to complement each course.

This is Champagne and food doing what they do best — making each other look even better.

🥂 OR… DO BOTH

Start amongst the roses with Champagne and canapés, then move through to dinner and continue the journey with some of our best-of-the-best selections.

This is more than just another Wine Club tasting.

It’s an opportunity to enjoy some truly exceptional Champagne, beautiful food, spectacular surroundings and a little glimpse into the world we experienced on our recent Champagne adventure.

The Champagne Experience is our chance to bring a little piece of that Champagne experience home to Canberra — and then make it our own.

🍾 The Champagne Tasting

Tasting starts: 5:30pm

We recommend arriving from 5:15pm to allow plenty of time to sign in, collect your Champagne glass and tasting booklet, and get settled before the first pour.

Then it's time to get the bubbles flowing and enjoy the Champagne Experience amongst the beautiful surroundings of Royal Canberra Golf Club.

🍽️ The Dinner

Dinner starts: 7:30pm

If you're joining us for dinner, we recommend arriving a little before 7:30pm so everyone is seated and ready to enjoy the evening.

Want the whole night?

Grab the package deal and enjoy both events — start with the Champagne tasting at 5:30pm, then move straight into the dinner at 7:30pm.

No rushing off. No need to find somewhere else to be.

Just Champagne → Canapés → Dinner → More Champagne.

Now that's what we call a Wednesday night. 🍾

🥂 Dress Code

Royal Canberra Golf Club – Neat Casual

We’re heading to the beautiful Royal Canberra Golf Club, so put on your dinner best. Think smart, relaxed and ready for an afternoon/evening of Champagne!

What to wear

• Neat casual attire

• Collared shirts and polo shirts — polo shirts must be tucked in

• Dress shirts may be worn untucked where designed to be worn that way

• Casual dress shoes, with or without socks

What to leave at home

• Denim, cargo or drawstring trousers/shorts, or trousers with external side pockets

• Sporting or gym attire

• T-shirts, singlets or outerwear featuring large motifs or advertising

• Thin-strapped tops.

In short: Think smart casual with a touch of Champagne style. 🍾
