The changing face of women in politics - The Ninth Annual Mary Dreaver Lecture with Hon. Carmel Sepuloni
Event description
Hon. Priyanca Radhakrishnan MP and Labour Maungakiekie are delighted to invite you to join us at the ninth annual Mary Dreaver Lecture.
This year, we are honoured to have Hon. Carmel Sepuloni join us to discuss "The Changing Face of Women in Politics."
Carmel served as the 20th Deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand. She was the first Pacific person and only the third woman to hold that role. She held various ministerial roles in the Ardern & Hipkins governments, making decisions that led New Zealand through some of our most tumultuous times. She is also the MP for Kelston. Carmel is a strong woman leader who continues to break glass ceilings and brings a unique perspective to this years’s lecture topic.
Come along to this year’s Mary Dreaver Lecture to meet an inspirational woman leader, gain insights from a thought-provoking address, ask questions and to support Mary Dreaver's legacy by contributing to Labour-affiliated women's political campaigns.
Afternoon tea will be provided.
Please share this invitation with anyone who may be interested. All are welcome!
