Event description

As part of Richmond River Fest 2025, Richmond Landcare and Lismore City Council are working together to hold a community tree planting day on the banks of Terania Creek, at The Channon Tavern.

A planting was begun in autumn 2025, funded through Lismore City Council and The Northern Rivers Watershed Initiative, and this planting day will extend the existing planting.

The whole community is invited to come along and take part in the planting of flood-champion native species, then enjoy a lunch and some music at The Channon Tavern.

The day is supported by Lismore City Councils' Biodiversity Management Strategy funding.
