Join us for the Circular Change Makers Tour – a unique event highlighting the transition from a traditional linear economy to a sustainable circular economy. This forward-thinking program, held in collaboration with leading industry partners, will showcase innovative projects that conserve resources, reduce environmental impact, and create new opportunities for growth.

What to Expect

Join us for an exclusive site tour showcasing two innovative water-sector projects across Torquay and Geelong.

Stop 1 – Torquay: The Hydraloop Project
See innovative water recycling technology in action. This guided stop will provide an overview of the project, how the Hydraloop system captures and treats household greywater for reuse, key learnings from the trial, and its potential to support water efficiency and resilience across the water sector.

Stop 2 – Geelong: Heat-as-a-Service Project
Explore Barwon Asset Solutions Heat-as-a-Service initiative, which is investigating how heat recovered from wastewater can be captured and delivered as a sustainable heating solution for commercial and community facilities — cutting gas use and emissions while turning an everyday waste stream into a valuable resource.

This is a great opportunity to hear directly from both project teams, explore the installations, and discuss the future of decentralised water recycling and low-carbon heating with industry peers.

Transportation and Lunch:

A bus will be provided with two pick-up and drop-off locations: Southern Cross Station and Geelong Station. When registering for the event, please select your preferred location. You are also welcome to make your own way to the sites by car if you prefer.
