The Cloud Maker Workshop

Through reimagined goddess folklore from their many shared heritages, The Cloud Maker weaves powerful music that echoes tales of creation, regeneration, and transformation, evoking a time when music and language, art and life, were intertwined.

Join the artists from The Cloud Maker for an intimate workshop event before the performance. 

Hear and about the practice and process of these five musicians as they give an insight into their musical lineage and traditions and join in as they lead you though an interactive exchange.

The Cloud Maker was supported by the Ukaria residency through The Australia Council for the Arts and Australian Art Orchestra (AAO). The Cloud Maker has also received support for future works including the PPCA Australia Council partnership, the Contemporary Music Touring Fund and The APRA/AMCOS Art Music Fund, and Creative Victoria to collaborate with Kate Davis and Sabina Maselli.
