Event description

In improv, technical skill opens the door to greater creativity, builds more trust from our scene-partners, and helps our audience stay engaged with the reality of our scenes. Much of improv is kind of like movie special effects; you only really notice when they're not good.

The Coaching Jam is a fun, casual improv jam session where we'll play a bunch of games & perform scenes while working on aspects of our improv. Bring any current improv-bugbears, frustrations, or just yourself and get feedback, insights, tools, and tips on as much (or as little) of your improv as you like. It's a jam with optional feedback.

This workshop forms part of the 2025 PITS Annual Improv Festival and all proceeds go to supporting the growth of improvised theatre in Perth.
