Darren Sanders and Daniel Thompson are THE COMEDIAN & THE COWBOY

Two powerhouses of Australian Entertainment joining together for a show full of laughs and music which is bound to have you in stitches and singing along.

Darren Sanders has been performing comedy for over 30 years worldwide  in pubs, clubs, cruise ships and corporate events. He even opened for The Temptations on their Australian tour. He has performed stand-up comedy live on TV shows In Melbourne Tonight, Rove Live, The Russell Gilbert Show and Stand Up Australia. He also hosted his self-titled Late Night Chat Show on the Nine Networks GO Channel and Foxtel Aurora Channel. 

Alongside fellow comedian Garry Who, they won the Antenna Award for best Comedy Programme for their interview show Talking Comics. As an actor Darren has appeared in Underbelly 3 and the feature film by Working Dog ‘Any Questions for Ben’ where he has the honour of having the last line in the film and can be spotted in the film ‘Shooting Goldman’ as the Comedy Club host. He also appeared in the drama ‘A Place To Call Home’.

Daniel Thompson is a multi-award-winning vocalist and tribute artist from  Sydney, Australia. For the last 15 years, he has toured Australia with his own tribute to the Man In Black, Johnny Cash The Concert and has become recognised as one of the country’s premier tribute artists. In January 2020 he was invited to perform with  one of the world's most respected tribute shows, Legends In Concert. Legends is Las Vegas longest longest-running tribute show and features the world’s best, internationally recognised tribute artists. 

Daniel has performed as a headline act on the Country Music-themed cruise Cruisin’ Country out of Australia since 2016 on Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas. In November 2022 he joined the Ovation of the Seas for the SuperCruise, headlining alongside legendary international icon Suzi Quatro .

The son of working musicians, Daniel grew up in a home surrounded by music of all genres and considers  himself a lifelong fan and student of music. He studied guitar from a young age and had 8 years of vocal  lessons from his mid-teens with one of Sydney’s premier vocal coaches. He is a skilled musician and vocalist with  a warm and powerful bass-baritone voice. 

Now an industry veteran with nearly 30 years as a full-time professional entertainer he is a warm, commanding  and fun presence on stage and loves to give his best for every audience he encounters. He is seen as a versatile  and respected singer and entertainer amongst his peers as well as a talented and respected performer amongst  fans. He counts himself as one of the lucky ones, who gets to make a living doing what he loves.
