The Confident Conductor 2021
Event description
State Opera South Australia is excited to invite teachers to develop their conducting skills in a warm and supportive environment. Designed specifically for primary and high school teachers who are relatively new to music ensemble leadership, these workshops will deliver basic conducting skills and techniques that can be used across choral, band, instrumental ensemble and classroom music groups.
Conducting 101 is a single session open to 40 people. The other 3 workshops can facilitate 10 people per class and are being run twice each. When booking you can opt in to one, several or all 4 classes. Please do not register to attend the same workshop on both days.
All session will occur at our Netley Studios from 5pm - 7:30pm
