The construction reset - how marketers can shape the future
Description
A free, CPD-certified afternoon of ideas, debate and networking for construction marketing leaders.
Marketers can do more than respond to the current changes across construction. They can help shape the industry’s future by making complex information useful, building trust and connecting new ideas with the people who need them.
How can we build trust, strengthen relationships and demonstrate marketing’s contribution to business growth?
Join the Construction and Built Environment (CBE) Marketing Network, Barbour ABI and UK Construction Week London for an afternoon of TED-style talks and frank conversations on the day of this year’s CMA Awards. Finishing at 4pm, the event is timed so you can attend both, with time to get ready for the evening’s celebrations.
The Construction Reset will explore how we respond to changing customer behaviour, make informed decisions about AI and develop the people and skills our businesses need.
Ideas to put to work
Barbour ABI will open the afternoon with insights drawn from its construction market data, setting the scene for a series of short, focused talks.
Confirmed speakers include Liam Poole of Knauf and Catherine Fyfe of Genuit. The programme will explore the changing relationship between marketing and sales, alongside questions about AI, trust, governance and the future of construction marketing teams.
Expect clear arguments, practical examples and ideas to take back to your business.
The Agency Reset
Four agency leaders. Four minutes each. One idea, told well.
How are agencies resetting their businesses in response to AI? What have they changed, what have they stopped doing and what are they betting on next?
Each speaker will share one thing that’s working and one thing that’s failed. No pitches, credentials presentations or case-study reels — just an honest account of change, with the audience voting for the most compelling reset.
The four confirmed participants are:
Liam Bateman - The Think Tank
Alex Swann - Lesniak Swann
Kate Sugarman - Ridgemount
Amelia Spence - Fabrick
Continue the conversation
The talks will be followed by drinks and networking led by UKCW London, including a brief reveal about the future of UK Construction Week London. Catch up with peers, meet new contacts and exchange ideas before heading off to prepare for the evening’s CMA Awards.
