The Contemplation Cloth

Learn to combine various mark making techniques on cloth to create an artwork, in a 6-part workshop series with artist Carol Cooke. Explore various marking making techniques on cloth integrating paint, pens, and embroidery stitching. Carol will encourage you to find your own artistic style while sharing her knowledge and techniques and using her favourite embroidery and encyclopaedia books for reference.  At the end of the series, you will have a completed and framed a colourful and textured mixed media artwork to hang in your home. The classes are about exploring, playing, and having some fun with a contemporary stitch sampler.
