This August, The Continental Sorrento's iconic events level transforms into the Mornington Peninsula's ultimate winter wine and jazz destination. Set indoors in the warmth and comfort of our beautifully restored heritage space, it's the perfect way to embrace the season without braving the winter chill.
The Continental Winter Wine & Jazz Festival brings together 20 of the Mornington Peninsula's leading wineries under one roof for an afternoon of unlimited tastings, live jazz and great company. Whether you're a passionate wine lover or simply looking for the perfect winter's day out, this event is not to be missed.
Your ticket includes:
Unlimited tastings from all 20 wineries
A branded 'The Continental' wine glass to take home
Live jazz performances throughout the afternoon
Food stalls serving favourites including paella, pasta and more, available to purchase throughout the event.
You'll also have the opportunity to purchase your favourite bottles of wine directly from the wineries to enjoy at home. Please note, all bottles purchased must remain sealed while on site.

Rather than ageing their wines in traditional oak barrels, Trofeo Estate uses handcrafted terracotta amphorae, an ancient technique that produces wines with exceptional purity, texture and expression of place. Guided by the winery's experts, you'll enjoy a curated tasting while discovering the philosophy and craftsmanship behind this unique process. - Can you buy wine on the day?
Bottles purchased must be taken away unopened and unchilled and cannot be consumed onsite.
- Can I bring my kids?
Children are welcome and do not require a ticket. As this is an 18+ tasting event, children must be supervised at all times.
