Join us for WORLD LOVE DAY on Wednesday May 1st @ 5PM - 7PM for an uplifting live DJ journey curated to free your mind, open your heart, connect with your spirit, and awaken the wisdom within your body. The Cosmic Boogie is a fun multi-modality embodiment experience that combines intention setting, mantra/sound vibration, qigong body warm up (awakening our life force energy), emotional release techniques, free flow movement, breathwork and meditation to help you feel energised & grounded. 

Expect a diverse selection of world-tribal-afro-latina-funky-disco-house music curated by DJ Nicolacii, allowing you to connect more deeply with yourself and your true nature. If you are looking for a space to express yourself, feel your emotions and experience high states of joy - you won't want to miss this! WHAT IS AN 'ECSTATIC DANCE'

Ecstatic dances are a genre of free-flow dance that facilitates a powerful energetic/physical/mental release process that comes from getting out of your busy mind and into your body to ultimately experience your natural state of inner joy. The hallmark of an Ecstatic Dance is that the dance floor is a sacred space, meaning there are a few agreements that we abide by including:

• Be present. NO PHONES. NO CAMERAS.
• Be embodied. NO TALKING.
• Be clear. NO INTOXICANTS.
• Be natural. NO SHOES.
• Be consensual. LISTEN FOR A YES. RESPECT A NO. (not everyone wants to engage/dance with another)
• Be free. DANCE HOW YOU WANT. NO JUDGEMENT.

THE JOURNEY - WHAT TO EXPECT

5:00 - 5:45 | Opening Circle + Chakra Activation (Purifying & Balancing Inner Energy Centres)

5:45 - 5:50 | Awakening Life Force Energy w/ a Guided Qigong Warmup (qi=life force energy, gong=refined skill)

5:50 - 6:50 | Uplifting dance vibes + Calming Meditation

6:50 - 7:00 | Closing Share Circle

WHAT TO BRING / PREPARE

- Waterbottle (with water, obviously)

- Comfy 'yoga-flow' clothes to go WILD in (we welcome any pizzazz such as colour, glitter, glamour, & shine to get the good vibes going)

- No cell phones in the dance space 

- Eat lightly (or fasting) for best results - the emptier the belly the more you can fly

The journey is curated by The Cosmic Boogie Tribe who are a collective of passionate consciousness-expanding humans who see dance movement & deep human connection as medicine, led by Founder Nico DiMattina (aka DJ Nicolacii) who is a Meditation & Mindset Mastery Teacher, Qigong Guide, Wellbeing Facilitator and an Ecstatic Dance DJ/Host.
