This is an online only event from 12 - 1 pm on the 21st of October 2026. A MS Teams link will be sent out when registrations close the day prior to the event.

About the Event:

Being dependable should be a professional strength, but too often it becomes an invitation to take on more. Work tends to flow towards the people who create the least resistance, while those who either resist, delay, or underperform are quietly given a free pass.

This session explores the hidden cost of being the reliable ‘safe pair of hands’, why women can experience this pressure particularly sharply, and how clearer boundaries, responsibilities, and priorities can stop helpfulness becoming exploitation.

Always as provocative as ever, Youssef will share some insights and provide some tips and tricks on how to balance this out..
