Event description

"Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it." - Maya Angelou

-

Who are you, and why do you want to join this community?

For you - Have you been wanting to work on that side hustle, but never made the time for yourself? Have you got a lot of creative ideas and you haven't had that time to write them all down? Or email all those clients, or write that blog that's been on your mind, because you're too busy? Have you been doing other people's work, and not making space for you? Have you lost your sense of creativity, and want to reinvigorate your creative juices? Do you want to make that time for yourself? We would love to co-create a space for you to do that, and commit to continuing this.

This can be a space for you to jump onto a session, and simply be in your own space - knowing that there are others there in the room, cheering you on.

For connection - Do you have ideas to share with others? Do you want to connect to like-minded individuals? Are you running your own business, working from home, and want to collaborate with others? This community will foster connection, business networking and collaboration.

Who am I? Amy Tobin

I’m a wanderlust traveller, who creates and writes on the road; and as I am moving from place to place, I love collaborating along the way with humans I meet. I believe that my passions and work are amplified when I share it with others. I originally created this space to connect like-minded women who are doing incredible things, have a space to celebrate our wins, & dedicate time for ourselves, whilst raising funds for non-profits through the ticket prices. I crave a community to be held accountable, collaborate with others, be inspired, commit to my work & creative attributes, and continue aligning with my purpose.

In 2023, the Creative Accountability Space is expanding. I’m excited to announce that the 2023 sessions will be co-created with Kayla who has been part of the Creative Accountability community from 2021, and now will be co-facilitating this space together, offering a safe space to show up, commit to yourselves, your creativity and your passions, and connect to other sisters in the community.

Who am I? Kayla Cartledge

I was a part of Amy's Creative Accountability classes during Covid and I realised how much I got out of being around incredible, creative people who wanted a space to share and create. I love arts and crafts and trialing new styles of creation. Creating art in different forms and medium is a way to communicate our innermost thoughts into visual concepts that can be interpreted in many different ways. This space holds a really special place for me

-

What?
The space is for humans who want to start something new, or set time for your own personal creations; whether that's writing, painting, yoga, art, knitting. You may run your own business, be beginning a new project or business venture and need time to dedicate to ticking off those never ending to-do list items.

Time and cost?

We will have 2 hour in person sessions. Bring whatever you want to create to the event. That includes pens, laptop, sewing kits, paper, etc.

Cost per session - $34.95 AUD

Where does this money go?
$3 will be directed to different charities and ethical organisations (which we can all vote on during the year).
The rest is an administration fee, studio hire fee, and allows us to create this space (including absorbing the booking fees). *If you have your own ABN/business, you are welcome to claim this on your tax as you will be sent a receipt though humantix.

*It is not our intention for money to be a barrier to supporting you and your creativity. If it is, please reach out to me and we can work something out.

After?
This space is not just a once-off session. Whenever you come to one session, you get access to our messenger chat (forever!) where we can share ideas and collaborate through the month. This will also be a place to share our 'peps' and lift each other up when we have an exciting thing we've accomplished. I believe that we need more spaces where we are celebrated for our breakthroughs in therapy, our work promotions, our artwork, our new ventures, our wins in the social justice sector.

-

We look forward to meeting you, and holding a space where you can show up for yourself, again and again and again.

With kindness,
Kayla and Amy
