The Crystalline Consciousness That Speaks Meaning Into Flesh
Event description
THURSDAY 11th SHOW SOLD OUT!
-
A crew wakes from a frozen sleep in the black of space to the sound of screaming alarms.
Something has breached the hull and crashed the engines - but what?
-
The Crystalline Consciousness That Speaks Meaning Into Flesh is a horror-comedy about the crew of the Echo-Hold, a cargo spaceship of the EPSCO megacorporation. But this hull breach is only the start of the crew's problems, when their captain is controlling their every move, and the company only cares about the cargo.
Tensions rise, and tempers flare as the crew turn on each other in their scramble for power, knowledge and control.
Inspired by the genres of science fiction and mystery, and the aesthetics of hyperpop, maximalism and drag, The Crystalline Consciousness explores themes of class, gender and power in a 2-hr romp that is totally out-of-this-world!
