The Cubby has just finished a 5 week regional tour and features a stellar cast - Luke Whitefield, Sam Giles, and Ellen Grow. We’re thrilled to be able to share this show with you before hitting the road again in September.

A captivating blend of contemporary circus and storytelling that invites young and family audiences on an enchanting journey into the limitless world of imagination.

The Cubby celebrates the limitless imagination, ingenuity, and resilience of kids. A series of playful chapters each exploring the perfect cubby and revealing a new adventure. From blanket forts to tree house swimming pools, the performers take audiences on a journey filled with laughter and wonder where anything is possible.

The show explores themes of risk, play, place, and identity that brings young people's stories to life with fantastic circus skills and Flipside’s renowned circus aesthetic. The Cubby is a brand-new work by the award-winning Flipside Circus, it builds on our highly popular residency and workshop programs and has been created with regional and remote Queensland communities.

Suitable for ages 5 and up.
