    About the writers:

Trevor Williams: Trevor is an old 50’s beatnik who loves jazz and online worlds. He took up word-smithing about 20 years ago when he did a creative writing course at Holmsglen TAFE with Ray Mooney. Inspired by the likes of Kerouac and Ginsburg, his prose explores a lifetime living on the edge. He also has a visual arts practice, inspired by Mondriaan, he likes to explore digital abstraction, mark making and tartan aesthetics. Last year he accidentally ate a dope brownie which further inspired his writing. His first performance piece was Rebel Elders in Ballarat with Rose Turtle in 2016. Cyber Naughts incorporates several of his narratives from times spent online and days gone by.

Morgan Williams:  Morgan's passion is art and design, it always has been. His brain is hardwired to notice everything visual: from an edgy new font to a new contemporary artist. This obsession is in his work as a designer and artist. In recent years Morgan has been exploring the written word in all its forms. He writes a monthly art column online, is writing a novella and has done readings at past Words In Winter festivals. This is Morgan's first foray into performance and script writing. His words will also be part of a new spoken word beat style outfit on Friday night called Homemade Hepburn Jam.

Sandra Fiona Long: Sandra is a writer, theatre maker and artist who recently started writing about her experiences with art, creativity, neurodiversity and life in her blog Botanic Mystic. This is her first attempt to turn one of her blog posts into a performance and she is very excited about that. Her writing and theatre making is raw and tender and has received awards and grants over many years. She works across forms and especially loves working with collaborators in music, voice and design. Sandra is also excited to work alongside her friends Morgan and Trevor who she has known for 35 years, her son Aaron whose beats accompany her writing so well, and to perform with Clay for the first time.  See Sandra's performance work also at sandrafionalong.com
