The Dementia Symposium in Western Australia (WA) is a must attend event. It provides a platform to exchange the latest dementia care strategies, challenge existing perceptions, and explore innovative approaches to supporting people living with dementia. Attendees will hear updates on the latest Government policies, research breakthroughs, latest Assistive Technology and AI opportunities, and practical tips from industry leaders and local champions.

As the event unfolds, Alzheimer’s WA is excited to announce that the Honourable Emma McBride MP will deliver the first keynote address, followed by Dr Shirley Bowen. Participants are encouraged to share their insights and experiences, contributing to WA’s vital dementia care sector. The Symposium caters to Dementia Change Champions™, practitioners, service providers, carers, and administrators.

Attendance at The Dementia Symposium like many conferences, workshops, and seminars meets CPD criteria for healthcare professionals. Please check your profession's registration standards for further details (https://www.ahpra.gov.au/Regis...)

For Dementia Change Champions™, this event also facilitates ongoing professional development through sessions focused on care experiences and research.
