Event description

Tales From Darkest Dunedin are proud to debut, for the Otepoti Dunedin Heritage Festival, its new walking tour, the "Dynamite and Opium" tour of Dunedin's very own "Devil's Half Acre." 

Beginning at the iconic gentleman's convenience at the bottom of Manor place, the 60 minute tour passes sites of historic events such as the 1883 murder/suicide by dynamite, a sermon which changed the course of New Zealand history, dark alleys which saw dark deeds, and more.

Bring drinking water! It could get thirsty out there.
