The DOs and DONTs of Zionist Advocacy
Event description
Friends of Israel WA (FOIWA), invites you to attend our speaking engagement with Mr Alex Ryvchin, on the topic of The Do's and Don'ts of Zionist Advocacy.
The event aims to help everyone who attends to fine tune their ability to push back on anti Israel sentiment, where they encounter it. With the hope of aiding in training its attendees in how to effectively challenge and convincingly persuade others; thereby opening dialogue against the backdrop of some of the more ideological arguments we unfortunately face. To which end we all stand to have much to learn by tapping into Mr Ryvchin's own experience in this field.
This stems from Mr Ryvchin having been a long-time advocate on the behalf of Israel. In 2013, Mr Ryvchin joined the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, Australia's premier representative and advocacy body for the Australian Jewish community, and was promoted to co-Chief Executive Officer in February 2018, becoming one of the youngest leaders in the Jewish diaspora. He is also the author of two internationally acclaimed books of history and politics, "The Anti-Israel Agenda - Inside the Political War on the Jewish State" and "Zionism - The Concise History".
Beyond this Mr Ryvchin, also writes for leading publications, speaks, debates and teaches around the world on the Arab-Israeli conflict, foreign and national affairs, antisemitism and the Holocaust, and religion and identity, and is a regular commentator on TV and radio.
This event is to be held on Wednesday the 10th of August, at Chabad WA, 11 Garson Ct, Noranda WA 6062, Australia.
There will be a light Israeli style diner provided.
We hope to see you there.
