SESSION INFORMATION:
Descents into The Dragon’s Lair are limited. Choose your period of reckoning wisely; the dragons will not wait for the hesitant.
Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis. There will be a small number of tickets available at the ticket booth on the day.

- Who is The Dragon’s Lair suitable for?
The Dragon’s Lair is a 15+ experience and identification may be requested upon arrival. Children are not permitted into the experience.
Customer discretion is advised for those who may not be comfortable amidst an immersive, high-volume experience. The experience takes place along a one-way system in a series of underground tunnels with limited exits once inside. Some of the lighting and special effects sequences will include flashing, flickering and patterned effects, as well as strobe effects. Smoke and haze effects may be used in some areas of the route. For safety reasons, strollers and prams are not permitted.
While every effort has been made to make the event accessible, some areas of the tunnels include uneven terrain and varying gradients, which may be challenging for wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility. Please refer to the Accessibility & Inclusion section for more information.
- If I am delayed and miss my session time, can I join a later slot?
Entry cannot be guaranteed if you arrive after the session time printed on your ticket. Please allow enough time to arrive and check in before your allocated session.
If you arrive late, our team will do their best to accommodate you in a later session where possible.
- Should I arrive in advance of my session time?
Yes. We recommend arriving approximately 10 minutes before your session time. Your entry time is a 30-minute window, and the last entry into the event will be permitted 25 minutes after the time printed on your ticket.
Please note that guests arriving late may experience shortened access to the event and may be ushered out of the experience to allow entry for the following group
- Is there an expected wait time?
Please be aware that entry may occur up to 25 minutes after your scheduled session time. As temperatures both outside and inside the tunnels may be cool we recommend dressing warmly.
- Will there be a cloakroom?
No. There is no cloakroom or stroller storage available at The Dragon’s Lair and no large bags or backpacks will be permitted into the experience.

Although the experience is indoors, tunnel temperatures are similar to outdoor conditions, and there may be a short wait before entry.
- Can I dress up in character?
While there is no issue with you dressing up to match the show. Please note, sharp objects like swords are not permitted into the experience.
- Will there be food and drinks available?
No food and drink will be available for purchase at the event.
Please refrain from bringing your own food and drink to the experience.
There are a number of cafés, restaurants, and food outlets located within and around Wynyard Station for pre- or post-event dining.
- Can I take pictures?
The experience has been designed for content capture. Be sure to tag @HBOMaxANZ.
For safety reasons no tripods or monopods will be allowed.
