At just 16, John Denton is already making a genuinely remarkable amount of noise. The Salford singer-songwriter has been featured on NME, Far Out, BBC North West Tonight, Granada Reports, BBC 5 Live, BBC Radio Manchester and XS Manchester, off the back of heartfelt lyrics and melodies well beyond his years.

In 2023 he won the Johnny Marr Award, earning mentorship from Marr himself, and has since had his music heard and praised by Bruce Springsteen and The Edge. He's now signed to Modern Sky, with his debut EP on the way, and has built a genuinely huge following along the way, over 2.5 million views on TikTok, alongside a growing audience on Instagram and X.

It started with The Height, the band he fronted before going solo, racking up over 25,000 streams. Now it's just him, his songs, and a story that's only just getting started.

This is a rare chance to catch him up close, before the rest of the country catches on.
