Description

The Electric Farm returns with their singular blend of soft pop, folky textures, and space-rock imagination—an approach shaped by the atmospheric beauty of Nick Drake, the emotional weight of Neil Young, and the off-beat storytelling spirit of The Kinks. Led by songwriter Joey Mutis, whose music has appeared across major television and film, the band has spent more than 30 years shaping its melodic identity on East Coast stages, from Godfrey Daniels to iconic rooms like CBGB and 40 Watt Club. With four studio albums and a history that includes collaborations with Peter Buck of R.E.M. and openings for artists as varied as The SunRa Arkestra, Strawbs, and Railroad Earth, The Electric Farm brings a night of musical adventure perfect for the intimate, welcoming setting of Godfrey Daniels.

It’s a cherished space where artists and audiences can come together to celebrate live, diverse music in a truly immersive and unforgettable setting that embodies the essence of music appreciation.

SO, WHAT IS A ‘MUSIC LISTENING ROOM’?

A music listening room is a dedicated space or venue designed to create an intimate and focused atmosphere for live music performances. It provides a setting where the primary focus is on the music and the experience of actively listening to it. Unlike traditional concert venues or bars, music listening rooms prioritize respectful attention from the audience, creating an environment where the music takes center stage and performers can connect with their listeners on a deeper level. The seating arrangement, acoustics, and overall ambiance of a music-listening room are carefully designed to enhance the listening experience, allowing for a more intimate and immersive encounter between the audience and the artists.
