Presenters
Tim Forcey
Tim Forcey is a home comfort and energy adviser, researcher and author. His expertise is widely sought by householders, community groups, Councils, businesses, government agencies, MPs and the media. Tim founded and contributes to the thriving My Efficient Electric Home (MEEH) online community. He pursued a career as a chemical engineer working around the globe in fossil fuels, but left that industry after realising the climate crisis couldn’t wait for him to effect change from within. Following roles with government, the University of Melbourne, and not-for-profit organisations including Renew, Tim now enjoys helping people make essential changes in their own homes.
Brendan Lang
Brendan is an electrician with over 10 years experience operating his electrical contracting business, and the founder of Get Off Gas. As a keen environmentalist, the core motivation for his work each day is to help prevent an irreversible climate catastrophe by accelerating the transition to renewable fuelled all electric buildings and transport, reducing running costs and improving liveability for all. Brendan and his team at Get Off Gas offer expert guided solutions to electrify homes, from consultation to installation and maintenance, with a strong focus on educating homeowners and tradies to ensure they make great decisions.
