CoOpera are once again coming to Adelaide to bring a favourite opera to the Burnside Ballroom.
The Elixir of Love, by Gaetano Donizetti has become well known as a wonderful story of love, passion, and a little bit of magic!
Director Stephanie Acraman returns to show her own form of alchemy after the success of Puccini's Gianni Schicchi in 2022. Alongside Stephen van de Hoek they will also co-direct the music, with Stephen's skills displayed prominently on the grand piano.
A cast of emerging and established opera singers, all from South Australia will lead the story-telling, displaying a big level of talent. You will hear tunes that you know and love, and be introduced to some striking new ones.
Playing for three performances at the beautiful, historic Burnside Ballroom, this is an event to not be missed!
Bring along your picnic hamper, and bottle of.. anything you like, a bunch of friends and make it an occasion.

* Please note that seating is not assigned for these performances, due to the nature of the event, and the venue. Ticket holders seating is on a first-come, first-served basis on the performance date. Doors open strictly one hour prior to each performance. No admittance prior to this time is possible for the safety of our audience, cast and crew members. Donor/Sponsor tables will be pre-allocated and reserved accordingly.
