Experience The Emotional Intelligence Lab for just $15 this KidsFest Holidays.

The Emotional Intelligence Lab teaches emotional intelligence through creative experiential learning.

Through creativity, play, movement, conversation, and guided activities, children develop emotional awareness, resilience, confidence, communication skills, empathy, and self-understanding in a way that feels natural, engaging, and age-appropriate.

These special school holiday Discovery Sessions are an opportunity for children and families to experience the Lab at a significantly reduced price while exploring whether the programme feels like a good fit for their child.

To clarify - this is not an art class.

It is a creative and emotionally supportive learning environment where children are gently guided to better understand themselves, express their emotions, build confidence, connect with others, and develop practical skills they can take into everyday life.

Who might this benefit?

Some children attend because they experience:

• Big feelings and emotional overwhelm

• Anxiety, worry, or frustration

• Difficulty expressing emotions

• Challenges with confidence or friendships

• Neurodiversity or sensory sensitivity

Others simply attend because their families recognise the value of emotional education and want to give their child strong foundations for life.

Every child is welcome!

During the session children will experience a sample of the activities, creative exercises, emotional learning tools, and playful experiences that form part of The Emotional Intelligence Lab programme throughout the term.

Children will leave with:

• Developed emotional awareness

• Practical emotional regulation tools

• Increased confidence through self-expression

• New ways of connecting with themselves and/or others

• A fun and positive experience in a supportive environment

• Most importantly - they get to take their creations home!

The sessions/days have completely different activities programmed so if you are wanting your child to attend multiple days they will have a different experience for each! :)

IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTE: If you have booked a ticket and are confused when you receive the email as the event date says 7th or 16th but you have booked for the 9th please ignore. Spaces are intentionally limited to ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging experience for every child.

Please make sure they have everything they need - water, snacks, clothing that you don't mind getting messy as we work with paint and craft materials.

Pera May is the founder and Facilitator of The Emotional Intelligence Lab.

Her work sits at the intersection of emotional intelligence, nervous system awareness, creative practice, and child development.

Through creative experiential learning, she supports children and families to develop emotional literacy, confidence, resilience, self-awareness, and stronger relationships.
