The Business of Regeneration - The Epicurean Harvest Experience
Description
Join us for the upcoming Young Farmers Connect - Greater Sydney field day at Epicurean Harvest
This event is for YFC Members and non-members alike - all welcome - come and join our community of peer-support
This will be an awesome day out with heaps of opportunities to share and learn with Erika and Hayden from Epicurean Harvest at Hartley.
This inspiring family implements regenerative and collaborative farm business practices; providing people with a connection to land, arts, and food. These first-generation farmers grow vegetables for Sydney restaurants and their local community through their recently launched CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program.
Part of a global movement through the Savory Institute’s Land to Market program, Epicurean Harvest recently was awarded Ecological Outcomes Verification (EOV) status. The EOV assessment tracks real outcomes to verify that the farm practices are resulting in an improvement in soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem function.
Epicurean Harvest has inspired many other growers, and we're looking forward to learning from their experience of success and challenges as a small farm operation.
Thanks to the support of the Young Farmer Business Program, join us for a day as we continue to build and strengthen our community of farmers, supporters, and consumers.
Hope to see you there!
