The Essentials of Leadership: Self-Leadership Workshop

The Home Care Workforce Support Program is committed to supporting Home Care Providers in strengthening their capacity to support their workforce under the new Aged Care Quality Standards. 

The Essentials of Leadership Workshop

This half day (3.5 hour) session is designed to provide solid foundations for professional self-leadership.

Who is this for?

• Those who may not lead but are in professions where self-leading is expected
• Those who are not yet fully leading but developing as an emerging leader
• Those who have recently come into a leadership role
• Experienced leaders but were never able to attend a course to attain techniques and formalise their skills

What topics will be covered?

The course will be broken down into the following modules:

• From follower to leader 
• Leadership styles
• The art of delegation
• Time management

The knowledge and skills provided through the course allow attendees to take time out to reflect and document not only how they lead themselves but also how they lead their teams and their business in relation to the 4 modules discussed, thereby, providing an action plan to take away and use with their own leaders in their roles.
