The Evan Trio is a Brisbane-based jazz Piano Trio featuring Alex Askew on double bass, Evan J. Evans on drums and Jordy Stitt on piano.
The trio share a deep passion for jazz, taking inspiration from such legendary groups as those lead by Oscar Peterson, Nat King Cole, Hank Jones, Ahmad Jamal, Bill Evans and Red Garland. Over the years they’ve continued to refine an exciting, captivating and mellow sound that is sure to delight jazz enthusiasts and music lovers alike.
