The Evolution of ExerciseGuide UK:
Exploring Feasibility and Acceptability in Lung Cancer


Dr Jordan Curry will present his doctoral research process and findings on the feasibility and acceptability of ExerciseGuide UK, a web-based platform offering personalised physical activity programmes and educational resources for individuals living with and beyond lung cancer. Through a mixed-methods approach, Jordan co-designed ExerciseGuide UK iteratively with patient and public involvement members. The presentation will highlight the steps taken during his doctoral journey and share valuable insights gained through this research, shedding light on the importance of patient engagement in the development of such resources.

Bio:   Dr Jordan Curry (University of Hull, UK) brings a unique perspective to his work with a background as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and experience in the health and fitness industry. His primary research focuses on exercise oncology and digital technology, aiming to support individuals from cancer diagnosis through treatment and beyond and the development of exercise referral pathways. Jordan is also passionate about harnessing digital technology to enhance supportive care and physical activity prescriptions for those living with and beyond cancer.
