Event description

Join Jo Henwood (member of the Australian Storytellers Guild, and the founder of the Australian Fairy Tale Society) and Dr Debra Phillips in this free story-telling event for young children and their families.

The two group leaders will take different paths around the Coal Loader nature reserve and along the tour, point out favoured faerie areas, provide faerie lore and re-tell some of Australia’s favourite fairy tales.

Children and their adults will be encouraged to find the hidden fairy artworks throughout the site.

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please meet at Jacaranda Square (the grassed area opposite the cafe within The Coal Loader site) and look out for Dr Debra who will be wearing a red and yellow beanie!

There may be rain on the day so please dress appropriately.

This is a COVID-safe event. For the latest NSW Health advice please visit the official website. Please use your smartphone to scan in on arrival.
