The Flash Poetry Experience @ The Improv Pit - Sep 4th
Description
After their last sold-out show, Melbourne's pre-eminent Philosorapper & his band of improv renegades are back to take on humanity's midlife crisis.
Colliding philosophy, storytelling, freestyle rap, rambunctious musical improvisation and a real-time exploration of the increasingly strange times we inhabit, The Flash Poetry Experience is a one-of-a-kind show that must be seen to be believed!
A taste of their improv exploits ...

The venue is intimate and mostly seated. There will be a lights show by local legend Flavius. Tickets are limited and will likely sell out again.
What can we expect from humanoid robots with green eyes and pneumatic jaws? What does Centrelink and your Dad have in common? What does The Odyssey and freestyle rap have in common? How can poetry, art and courageous improvisation help us through these strange times?
These are just some of the questions that will be answered through the night’s musical madness & lyrical exaltation!
Flash Poetry is a freestyle rapper, TEDxMelbourne performer and the author of the poetry collection 'The Silent World That Won't Stop Talking’.
Harnessing the power of poetry, freestyle rap and live instrumentation, Audiences are taken on spontaneous, immersive lyrical adventures informed by the looming questions of the times, crowd suggestions & whatever is most alive in the room at any given moment.
Through a unique blend of rhythm, philosophy, storytelling & wordplay, the professional copywriter turned ‘Philosorapper’ offers a poetic lens to the conversation while he and his band showcase the mind-bending magic of live improvisation and the flow state.
