Journey to the Forest - A Men and Women's Sacred Ritual
Event description
In these times of widespread isolation, you are invited to follow the garden path that leads to the healing sanctuary of The Forest. This will be an intimate gathering in three stages:
1 - Men’s and Women’s Circles and Cacao Ceremony
2 - The Forest Ritual
3 - Kundalini Dance Journey
Come join us for a night of connection, sensuality and honoring of ourselves and each other in a safely held container of unconditional love.
SO, WHAT IS THE FOREST?
The Forest is a very special ritual built around touch, supporting your journey into yourself and your own body.To fully prepare and integrate with ourselves, we will begin by gathering in our gender groups, sitting in circle and sharing cacao. We will then explore and set our personal boundaries and do embodiment practices, before we split into two groups where the ritual begins.
Each group will take turns as symbolising trees in the forest, while the opposite group becomes creatures, slowly making their way through the forest, engaging in touch exchanges according to the limits and boundaries of the individual 'trees'.
Participants have often described the experience as unexpectedly moving, sublime, ecstatic, freeing, sometimes challenging, trust-building, and contributing to a journey of sexual self-discovery. The Forest represents a training ground in getting better at setting and naming your boundaries, as well as healing wounds of distrust.
The integration and processing after the forest ritual will be facilitated through a dance journey designed to deepen the connection to our bodies and our intuitive wisdom through primal intuitive movement and essential oil chakra activation.
