ODA’s AGM plus The Four Ws of Workshop Design: Key steps towards designing effective workshops

Members and guests are cordially invited to ODA’s Annual General Meeting, where ODA’s Leadership Group will report on activities, finances for the past year, as well as elect LG members. It will be brief and then onto the main event!

Our 2024 AGM will take place as part of our October event (from 6.30 pm – 6.45 pm). We are asking for expressions of interest to join our Leadership Group which is responsible for running the association and planning our monthly events. It is a really great way to get involved in the ODA community and we welcome expressions of interest from members new and old, and at all stages of their OD career. To find out more, please contact Danielle at president@odaustralia.org.

The Four Ws of Workshop Design

Have you ever left a workshop wondering what it was about and what was achieved? Sadly, most of us have had that experience as participants! Many of the problems with workshops start with their design, a fundamental element in setting participants and clients up for success.

Designing workshops (and delivering them) is a common and important aspect of OD work, whether we are in internal or external roles. In the busyness of a demanding work life, we can easily overlook taking time out to revisit workshop design. But not this October!

Join our special guest, (Fl)awesome facilitator, Jacinta Cubis, as she leads us through a practical refresher on designing effective workshops with her ‘4 Ws of Workshop Design’ mini masterclass.

You will:

✔ Unpack why workshop design is important.

✔ Identify what we get wrong.

✔ Learn the four W’s of facilitation that can fix this.

✔ Leave with facilitation tips and tricks to try immediately!

Book now for an engaging, practical and refreshing evening full of insights, fun and learning with the talented Jacinta Cubis.
