The Funky Butt Club is the new band by Trevor Hart. Know mostly for his freeform jazz, Trevor now explores his own musical origins - the traditions of early jazz, rags and blues.
The Funky Butt Club will dive into this tradition with abandon with the big sound of brass.
The early jazz tradition has a freedom and energy and beauty of an enduring music culture. The Funky Butts delve into the music of Ellington, Armstrong and Beiderbecke sits alongside originals and reinterpretations of Tom Waits and Lou Reed.
