The Future of Technology Forum, Presented by Macquarie Technology Society

Technology is no longer confined to computing or engineering only. It is transforming how businesses operate, how healthcare is delivered, how governments serve communities, how creative industries evolve and how people build their careers.

The Future of Technology Forum 2026 is the inaugural flagship event of Macquarie Technology Society, bringing together students, academics and industry professionals for an interdisciplinary conversation about the technologies shaping our future.

Through four concise keynote presentations and a moderated cross-sector panel, the forum will explore emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, responsible innovation, cybersecurity, future careers and the skills graduates will need in an increasingly technology driven world.

The event will conclude with an audience Q&A and structured networking session, giving attendees the opportunity to engage directly with speakers, academic staff and students from across the university.
