Booked for the Girls: The Galentines Edit

We’re hosting something a little different this February and it’s very much for the girls.

nook NZ, Messy Mates and Unic Picnics have teamed up to create Booked for the Girls: The Galentines Edit, a three hour Galentine’s event that’s all about connection, creativity and having a genuinely nice afternoon together. And just to be clear, this one is not just for mums. If you love a good catch up, a bit of self love energy and an excuse to get out of the house, this is for you.

It’s happening Sunday 15 February, 12 to 3pm at Broadfield Community Centre and the vibe is relaxed, fun and very “come as you are”.

Unic Picnic will be creating the cutest set up for the day, with styled spaces, photo ops and props so you can grab photos with your friends without needing to think about it. Expect a space that feels special the moment you walk in.

There’ll be a quiz with prizes, a creative journal decorating activity, and plenty of time to chat and hang out. We’ve also got inspirational speakers joining us to share stories and ideas around confidence, friendship and doing things for yourself once in a while.

Food and drinks are covered too. Think nibbles, mocktails, cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries to snack on while you talk. Everyone will head home with a goodie bag as well, because who doesn’t love a little takeaway surprise.

We’ll be releasing more details soon about the vendors, collaborations and extra surprises we have lined up, so keep an eye out for those. This is the kind of event you bring your best friend to. Or your sister. Or someone from work you’ve been meaning to hang out with properly. You can come solo too and meet new people along the way.
