Event description

THE GATHERING - CAMP OUT

February 10th-12th, 2023 UKI, NSW (45mins north of Byron Bay)

We gather on Bundjalung land to return.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and pay our respects to all peoples past and present.

This event is a not-profit event run by local Indigenous and female run charity, The Returning Indigenous Corporation.

We offer full scholarships for Indigenous women and single mothers because wellness, education, community and organic meals should not be a privilege, it should be a right.

In 2023 we are bringing you our first ever CAMP OUT for all Participants.

In order to do this we had to change sites, so if you have been to our Gatherings in the past, please make note we are not at the same site.

The Returning is a weekend event, empowering femmes through health and wellness, knowledge sharing and creating skills that we can then take back into our community, integrate back into our lives and support us to become more healthy and in turn have happy lives.

Learn about plant wisdom, pregnancy, birth and beyond, holistic healing, deep dadarri, be in ceremony, cultivate community and experience a taste of what true magic feels like when we gather with intention.

You are invited to return to wholeness, to nature, to knowledge, to ourselves and to one another.

We pride ourselves on being cultural sensitive to all peoples.

We have 50% of our facilitators are Indigenous women.

It is a weaving of women from all over the globe.

A global conference of maidens, mothers, queens and crones.

Please note: That boys under the age of 4 can attend the event, ages older are not permitted due to protocol.
