THE GATHERING GROUND; FOUNDING GATHERING OCTOBER 2026
Description
THE GATHERING GROUND
A monthly gathering for women who want real connection.
Come as you are. Find some common ground.
There are so many beautiful things for women to do - workshops, classes, wellness experiences and spaces that invite us to turn inward.
But lately I have been wondering...
Where do women go just to meet each other?
The Gathering Ground was created around something simple: a welcoming place for women to come together, slow down, have real conversations and genuinely connect.
Not networking. Not another workshop. Not another thing to achieve, fix or figure out.
Just a room of women, a little stillness, a cup of tea, good conversation and the opportunity to discover how much common ground can exist between people whose paths may not otherwise have crossed.
THE FOUNDING GATHERING
For our very first Gathering Ground, our theme is Come As You Are.
So much of adult life asks us to meet each other through our roles; mother, partner, professional, daughter, friend, carer, organiser, the one who keeps it all together. For two hours, you're invited to put some of that down.
We'll begin with time to arrive, have some tea and settle into the space before moving into approximately 30 mins of guided meditation - a chance to step out of the busyness of the day and simply arrive.
From there, we'll open into facilitated conversation around connection, belonging and what it means to meet each other without feeling the need to perform or present a particular version of ourselves.
There'll be space to talk, listen, laugh, reflect, share stories and simply enjoy being in the company of other women.
And if you're thinking "But I won't know anyone..." you don't need to. That's the point. Genuine human connection is at the heart of The Gathering Ground.
A safe space to talk, listen, laugh and simply be. Never any expectation to share more than feels comfortable.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Meditation > Conversation > Tea > Connection
A thoughtfully held two-hour gathering, intentionally limited to just 12 women so there is space to actually meet the people in the room.
