Breathe some of the world’s cleanest air, soak up seriously breathtaking views and enjoy live music in our backyard. Feast on gourmet summer BBQ fare, authentic souvlaki and local food-van favourites, paired with Tasmanian wines, sparkling, craft beers, ciders, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks from our fully licensed Café Bar.

Bring your picnic blankets and chairs, claim your patch of lawn and settle in for a glorious afternoon.

By purchasing a ticket or attending The George Lawn Parties, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Tickets, Food & Drinks

• Your ticket provides event entry only, unless inclusions are expressly stated in the ticket description.

• Strictly no BYO food or drinks. Only food and beverages supplied by or purchased from The George Tasmania Café Bar or authorised onsite vendors may be consumed onsite.

• Food vendors, menus, entertainment and event arrangements may change without notice.

• Please advise staff of any dietary requirements before ordering. While we take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Alcohol & Guest Conduct

• The venue is fully licensed. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws apply at all times.

• Valid photo identification may be required.

• Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 18 years of age or to intoxicated persons.

• Please treat staff, performers, vendors, staying accommodation guests and fellow attendees with courtesy and respect.

• Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person behaving in a disruptive, aggressive, unsafe, discriminatory or intoxicated manner without refund.

Children & Pets

• Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.

• Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead and under effective control.

• Owners are responsible for their pet's behaviour, waste and any damage or disturbance caused.

Event Areas

• Please remain within the designated event areas, including the lawn and Café Bar.

• Accommodation Pods, decks, pathways and surrounding guest areas are private and reserved exclusively for staying Pod guests.

• Please respect the privacy of our accommodation guests and follow all directions from event staff.

What to Bring

• Picnic blankets and low-backed chairs are encouraged.

• Marquees, tables, large umbrellas or anything that may obstruct another guest's view require prior approval.

• Comfortable footwear, sun protection and a light jacket are recommended—Tasmania's weather can change quickly.

Parking & Facilities

• Parking is available onsite, with overflow parking if required. Please follow all staff directions.

• Accessible parking is available—please contact us before the event if required.

• Toilets, including an accessible toilet with baby change facilities, are located beside the Café Bar.

• Vehicles and personal belongings remain the responsibility of their owner.

Venue & Safety

• The George Tasmania is a natural coastal bush setting with uneven ground, changing weather and native wildlife.

• 🦘 We're sharing the lawn with the locals! Our resident wallabies and pademelons love Mount George as much as we do. While we'll prepare the lawns before each event, the occasional wallaby dropping may remain. Please take care where you walk and place picnic blankets or chairs.

• Please do not approach, feed or disturb native wildlife.

• Stay within designated areas, supervise children and pets closely, and report any hazards or incidents to event staff.

Weather, Photography & Liability

• Lawn Parties are outdoor events and will proceed in most weather conditions.

• The George Tasmania reserves the right to postpone, relocate or cancel the event if required for safety, severe weather, fire risk or other unforeseen circumstances. Ticket holders will be advised of available transfer, credit or refund options where applicable.

• Photography and video may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear, please advise a member of our team on arrival.

• Guests attend at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety, belongings, and anyone or any pets in their care.

• Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
