Gather your favourite people for a relaxed afternoon high on Mount George, with panoramic views over the Tamar River and Bass Strait.

Our Argentinian-style BBQ will be firing up with mouth-watering, locally sourced beef ribs and marinated chicken wings, served with delicious sides and salads.

You’ll also find your Café Bar favourites, Van Diemen’s Land Creamery ice creams, and irresistible Bread & Butter and Le Petit Chou desserts. Pair your feast with House of Arras sparkling, Du Cane Brewing beers and Tasmanian ciders, plus other wines and non-alcoholic drinks.

We’re excited to showcase local musical talent, with performer details confirmed closer to the day! 🎶 Your ticket includes entry and a cover charge supporting our musicians.

No food vans for 14 November, but we’ll try to wrangle a few for future Lawn Parties!

The George Lawn Parties — Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket or attending, you agree to these conditions.

Tickets, food and drinks

• Tickets include event entry and a cover charge supporting our live musicians. Food and drinks are purchased separately unless expressly included.

• No walk-ins or unticketed entry.

• All orders and payments are made at the Café Bar. Order and collect—there is no table service.

• No outside food or drinks, unless agreed beforehand for a dietary or medical requirement.

• Menus and performers may vary. Onsite food is subject to availability and may sell out.

• Please advise dietary requirements before ordering and discuss allergies with staff. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Alcohol and conduct

• Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements apply. Photo ID may be requested. Alcohol will not be supplied to anyone under 18 or to intoxicated persons.

• Respect staff, performers, accommodation guests, fellow attendees and neighbouring properties.

• Unsafe, aggressive, discriminatory or seriously disruptive behaviour may result in refusal of entry or removal. No refund will ordinarily apply where removal results from a serious breach of these conditions, subject to law.

Children and pets

• Guests under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event.

• Well-behaved dogs are welcome on lead and under effective control. Keep dogs away from food-service areas.

• Owners must clean up after their dogs and prevent disturbance to guests or wildlife.

Event areas and safety

• Stay within designated event areas. Pods, private decks, accommodation pathways and surrounding guest areas are off-limits.

• Our coastal bush setting includes uneven ground, gravel paths, steep edges and wildlife. Supervise children closely and take care when moving around.

• Despite lawn preparation, occasional wildlife droppings may remain. Check where you walk and place blankets or chairs.

• Never approach, feed or disturb wildlife. Follow reasonable staff directions and report hazards or incidents promptly.

What to bring and facilities

• Bring picnic blankets or low-backed chairs, suitable footwear, sun protection and warm layers. Large umbrellas, marquees and tables require prior approval.

• Follow parking directions and keep access routes clear. Contact us beforehand to discuss accessible parking, seating or other access needs.

• Toilets, including an accessible toilet with baby change facilities, are beside the Café Bar.

• Please take care of your belongings.

Weather, cancellations and changes

• These outdoor events proceed where conditions are safe. Severe weather, fire risk or other circumstances may require changed arrangements, postponement or cancellation.

• We’ll notify ticket holders as soon as practicable. If an event is cancelled or materially changed, refunds will be provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and applicable Humanitix terms. Any transfer or credit offered instead will be optional.

• Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, non-attendance or early departure, subject to your legal rights.

Photography

• Promotional photography and filming may occur. Tell our team on arrival if you prefer not to appear, and we’ll take reasonable steps to respect your preference.

• We’ll seek parent or guardian permission before using identifiable close-up images of children for promotion.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for our negligence or limits rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. The terms provided at purchase apply to your booking; reasonable safety directions may also be issued onsite.
