The Glider feat: Nick Garbett-trumpet, Dave Rodrigues-guitar, Novak Manojlovic-keys, Rory Brow bass, George Bishop-percussion and didgeridoo, Finn Ryan-drums, Jordan Ireland-drums.
Nick Garbett’s latest project ‘The Glider’ is a meditation on colour, texture and rhythm, with ambient musical landscapes and electronic flourishes reminiscent of Jon Hassell and Brian Eno’s Fourth World, all grounded in a distinctly Australian celebration of togetherness.
Godriguez first stepped onto the international scene as the producer and creative force behind Sampa The Great's breakthrough release "The Great Mixtape", acting as musical director at festivals such as Splendour In The Grass and Laneway and played supports for Kendrick Lamar, Fat Freddy's Drop among others as well as solo sets including supporting Hiatus Kaiyote at Somerset House in London.
Jordan Ireland is a multi instrumentalist and was the singer and guitarist for Indie folk pioneers The Middle East and is best known these days for his solo projects: Jordan Ireland with Purple Orchestra, Temperate Touch Tropical Tears and Spirit Walking.
