2022 Refugee Week Exhibition

2022 International Refugee Week Exhibition.

Refugee artists who have, or are, residing in refugee camps throughout the world, will be exhibiting PRINTS of their artworks at the 'Global Need For Healing' exhibition during Refugee Week.

The exhibition will include the giant, creatively decorated, welcome message, created by over 30 groups across the Sunshine Coast and lead by the Sunshine Coast Refugee Action Network. Accompanying this enormous public message, will be the photos and video footage of the groups creating it.

The exhibition will be opened with readings by award winner writer and Sonder's Refugee Ambassador Yasaman Bagheri. Sonder's Founding Director Gabby Sutherland's Nauru Series will also be on display. Musician Bashir A Jibril, finalist in the QUBEeffect program and emerging Brisbane hiphop artist and rapper will perform on opening night.
